The Claflin Hill Symphony, of which Jim is Co-Principal, will perform dynamic works in the symphonic repertoire, “Daphnis & Chloe” by Maurice Ravel, along with “The Planets” by Gustav Holst. Rumored to open the program is the blockbuster hit, “Bolero” also by Ravel.

The Brass Consortium, which Jim directs, will perform at the Inauguration of Dr. Mark A. Thompson, Wentworth Institute of Technology at Watson Hall on the WIT campus in Boston.
Symphony By The Sea, with Jim as Principal horn, performs music by Mendelssohn, including the Overture to Midsummer Night’s Dream, and the Symphony No. 4 “Italian” by the brilliant composer Felix Mendelssohn. These works surround the showcase soloist Irena Muresano performing the Violin Concerto by Max Bruch. The Concert takes place at the Cabot Theatre in downtown Beverly, Mass.

Jim joins the Lowell Chamber Orchestra as Principal Horn in their inaugural appearance, performing music including Symphony No. 5 by Fr. Schubert and Symphony No.6 “Le Matin” by F.J. Haydn. This is an exciting new ensemble by conductor Orlando Cena. The concert will take place at Durgin Hall, University of Mass. Lowell.
